Hijman Smit

Hijman Smit was a son of Isaac Levie Smit and Mietje Benedictus Bak. He married Rachel Vieijra in 1883 in Amsterdam. She died in 1924. His last address was Weesperstraat 41-43.

On 9 January 1943 Hijman Smit was brought in Camp Westerbork and put on transport to Auschwitz on 26 January. On arrival there on 26 January 1943 he has been immediately killed.

Hijman is een zoon van Isaac Smit (A'dam, 23 okt 1822) en Mietje Bak. Hij trouwde november 1883 met Rachel Vieijra (A'dam, 21 april 1857 - A'dam, 13 juni 1924).
