The police commissioner in charge of the juvenile police in Amsterdam requested that the minor Peter Loewenthal, residing at 84 Olympiaplein, second floor, in Amsterdam and missing since 14 July 1942, be located and returned. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

Family of Peter Ahmed Yehudah Löwenthal

Peter was the child of Rabbi Erich Isaac Lowenthal and Ilse Minna "Miriam" Marienthal, and the brother of my late mother, Chaninah. He was born in Palestine and died in Bergen Belsen after working in the resistance as a young man.
