Betje Kannewasser-Polak

Betje Polak was a daughter of Barend Polak and Klara Vos. She married Levie Pachter in 1910 in Amsterdam. He passed away in 1917. They had three children. Betje Polak remarried in 1921 in Zaandam to Abraham Salomon Kannewasser. They divorced in 1925. From the end of 1940 the former husband and wife lived on the same address again.

Abraham Salomon Kannewasser was a son of Salomon Aron Kannewasser and Jansje (Gittel) Leon Beek. He was born 18 May 1883 in Den Helder and worked in various jobs; he was a cook, a bread baker and his latest was as vendor at the street market of occasional goods.
