Jozef Italiaander and Sara Mol married in 1899 in Amsterdam. They had eleven children, of whom seven died at a very young age. Three children survived the war, of whom one died a few days after the liberation. A son Nathan died during the war. A grandchild remembers that there always was a very cheerful atmosphere at the home of Jozef Italiaander and Sara Mol, especially on the saturday evenings.
