About Elly Julia Heller-Friedmann

Elly Julia Heller-Friedmann was the widow of Dr. Arnold Heller, the editor of the journal of the Verein Deutscher Ingenieure and the author of the first textbook on automobile construction, Motorwagenbau. Elly and Arnold had three sons: Rudi, who died as a child, and twin sons, Gerhard and another child.

Gerhard's twin brother was named Fritz. After moving to England, Fritz took the additional name Peter. Fritz Peter Heller married Ruth Cohn from Berlin in 1944 and they had a son, Jonathan Heller.
