David Visjager was a son of Samuel Visjager and Sara Korper. His father passed away in the first half of the "twenties" and his mother remarried 13 October 1926 to Nathan de Winter, who had from his previous marriage already two daughters: Heintje and Helena. Next to that, his mother had in her second marriage again a daughter Jeannette de Winter.
