Grietje Cauveren-Mendels

Grietje Mendels was a daughter of Philippus Mendels and Hanna van Zanten. She married in Amsterdam on 19 December 1918 to Jozef Cauveren, a son of Mozes Cauveren and Judith Furth. Grietje's husband however, still succumbed on 18 Mei 1945 in Feldafing, a subcamp of the Dachau concentration camp to the effects and hardships of the Holocaust.
