Leiser Geber

Er war der Bruder von Frieda Geber, der Ehemann von Chaja Geber und der Vater von Ruth, Margot und Willi Geber. Die Familie wurde aus Leipzig ausgewiesen und flüchtete am 15.7.1939 in die Niederlande. Herr Geber ist am 31.1.1943 im KZ Sachsenhausen umgekommen.

Leiser lived in Oostzaan since August 17th, 1939, but his last address was in Rotterdam. In February 1940 he was taken to the camp (for illegal refugees) in Hoek van Holland, and from there he was taken to Sachsenhausen via unknown prisons. He left Hoek van Holland on May 19th, 1940.

Leiser Geber and Chaja Spett fled to the Netherlands only shortly before the occupation of the Netherlands. They pressumably lived in Rotterdam. Their children Ruth, Margot and Willy had also fled to the Netherlands and lived with a relative in Amsterdam.
