Philippus de Haan

Philippus de Haan was a son of Baarend de Haan and Rosetta Isaacs.
He was also known as 'English Willie' because as a boy he had lived with an aunt in London for some time.

Philippus de Haan died on 22 April 1943 in Westerbork transit camp and he was cremated on the same day. The urn with his ashes was placed on the Jewish cemetry in Diemen on field U, row 3,…

Philippus de Haan and Grietje Kalff were the parents of Rosetta, Klara, Barend, Emanuel and Jane. Four other children survived the war.
