According to the book Een laatste saluut. Fryslân in de oorlog (Leeuwarden 2005) by Jack Kooistra, the Mirosch family were Roma. Their last place of residence was a caravan in Dokkum. The names of these individuals were listed in In Memoriam and have been included in the Digital Monument for that reason.
