Margaretha Achttienribbe-van Praag was the widow of Bension Achttienribbe, who died in 1939. During his life he was the co-owner of Drukker & Co., a bicycle-, carrier tricycle- and radio trade, settled at the Nieuwe Keizersgracht 81. The couple had three children: Simon and two children who survived the war by going into hiding.
