Mijntje van Lochem was the daughter of Samuel Levie van Lochem and Roosje Schoenlapper. In 1889 she married Simon Moscou. The couple had ten children, among whom: Debora, Roosje and Esther. Simon Moscou died in 1917.
During the war Mijntje Moscou-van Lochem went into hiding at the house of her son who lived at Plantage Kerklaan 10 in Amsterdam. There she died. She was buried at the Jewish cemeter…
