Mietje van West was a daughter of Emanuel Abraham West and Sara Biet. She married Nathan Vrachtdoender in 1889 in Amsterdam. He died in 1893. They had a son Emanuel. Mietje married Nathan Degen in 1894 in Amsterdam. He died in 1936.
