Samuel Harschel was the son of Jacob Harschel and Aaltje de la Fuente. He married Klara Behr in 1898. She was the daughter of Hartog Behr and Rachel van Gelderen. The couple had three children: 469338, one child died at a young age and one child that survived the war.
