Julia Aal-Broches

Julia Aal-Broches and her daughter were sent from Theresienstadt to Auschwitz with an 'ambulance service' on 23 October 1944.

Julia is de dochter van Abraham Broches en Chaja Person, van wie per ongeluk vermeld is dat zij alleen 2 zonen hadden. Vanaf 17 augustus 1943 woonden zij - met Abraham Broches en Chaja Broches-Person op President Steijnstraat 11.

In addition, a Jokos file (number 53873) on this family is at the Amsterdam Municipal Archive. Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 3/2698).
