Bruno Wallheimer was the owner of a prominent shop for lady's fashion in Oldenburg. In December 1936 he was arrested for 'Rassenschande'. In a sensational trial he was acquitted in September 1937 for lack of evidence. He then fled to the Netherlands. He married his non-Jewish fiancé in 1938 in London.
