Fritz was a refugee from Germany. He came to the Netherlands on March 30th, 1939 with a Kindertransport. After a stay at the quarantine station Beneden Heijpaat in Rotterdam he lived at the Achterklooster in Rotterdam and then went to the Quakerschool in Eerde.
