Leo Feigenblatt

Leo was a German refugee. He arrived in the Netherlands on December 8th, 1938, with his brother Tobias. After having lived with a family for a while he went to the Dommelhuis in Eindhoven in April 1939, after which he lives in several other camps. In March 1940 he went to camp Westerbork, with his parents.
Leo was a violinist. He had some lessons with Julius Röntgen, who thought that Leo was very talented. Julius Röntgen files a request for Leo to leave camp westerbork and live in Amsterdam, so he can continue his lessons.
Leo was deported to Auschwitz on July 15th, 1942.
His mother was Rosa Eisenberg (born 1898 in Sosnowizl in Poland), his father was Heinrich (born in 1898 in Wofslawje in Poland). Did the parents survive?
A younger sister survived.
