Adolf came to the Netherlands on December 25th. 1938, probably with his parents and younger brother. But Adolf lived in facilities for refugee children: Huis ten Vijver and Wieringen (from February 1940). Adolf was not a Zionist and trained in agriculture. He wanted to go to the US.
