Jakob Friedländer was interned in Gurs Camp in France, and deported from Drancy Transit Camp on 09.02.1943 to Auschwitz. The fate of his wife Berta remains unclear. (Klarsfeld, Memorial de la Deportation des Juifs de France, 2012)
