Salomon Citroen and his family

Salomon Citroen studied medicine in Amsterdam, where he sat for his medical finals in July 1909. He specialized in dermatology and venereal diseases. His practice was at 11 Sumatralaan in Hilversum. Salomon Citroen was the chairman of the national health insurance. He was a retired health officer 1st class from the Royal Dutch army of the East Indies.

Salomon Citroen was married to a non-Jewish woman. They had three children. His wife and children survived the war. Salomon went into hiding, but was betrayed.
