Mozes van Leeuwen appears on a handwritten list of all persons who held offices in the Dutch-Jewish community of Haarlem during the early years of the war. Photographs remain of each official. Mozes van Leeuwen cleaned the community centre of the Dutch-Jewish Community in Haarlem and was a porter at the religious institution Gemieloeth Chassadiem.
Mozes van Leeuwen was married. He and his wife lived at 6 Korte Heerenstraat in Haarlem.
