Rosa Frankenhuis was a daughter of David and Eva Frankenhuis. She
married Willem de Swaan in 1912 in Enschede.

Rosa Frankenhuis owned a butcher's shop on the Rijksweg, now Gronausestraat, in Glanerbrug (Enschede). When the nazis made it impossible for her to manage her business she moved to Enschede. A 'Stolperstein' is placed in front of her former house in the Gronausestraat 1076 in Glanerbrug.
