Josephus Zeeman was a son of Simon Zeeman and Judith Snoek. He married Johanna Blog on 21 February 1934 in Amsterdam. From October 1940 they did not live together anymore.
Siblings, who did not survive the Holocaust either were Ephraim, Barend, Femmetje, Saartje, Maria and Daniel.
