Marianne Ketellapper was a daughter of Marcus Ketellapper and Rachel Bonewit. She married 22 April 1903 in Amsterdam to Zacharias van Staveren, a son of Samuel van Staveren and Jansje Roos. The couple had four children: Samuel, Rachel, Marcus and Jansje.
Zacharias van Staveren passed away in Apeldoorn on 7 December 1938 and was interred in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen.
Together with her daughter Rachel, she lived in with her son Marcus.
Marianne was born in a family with ten children. Two of her sisters have passed away before the war. Her other siblings, Isaac, Abraham, Hijman, Leentje, Nathan, Vrouwtje and Alexander, have been killed during the Holocaust.
