Wolf Polak worked as a ironmonger for Frank Rijsdijk N.V. a ship-breaking yard in Hendrik Ido Ambacht. Wolf Polak married his wife on 8 March 1935. Their first child was Femmetje Polak-Halberstadt, named after the Wolf Polaks mother. Femmetje Polak died before the war. Their second child survived the war by going into hiding with his mother.
