Eva Pampel, a daughter of Mozes Pampel and Saartje Digtmaker, married 15 February 1923 in Amsterdam to Hijman van Loon, a son of Salomon van Loon and Marianna Bonewit.
Eva was born in a family with ten children. One baby brother and a baby sister have died at a very young age and her brother Abraham died in December 1941 in Amsterdam and was interred in the Jewish Cemetery in Diemen. Her other sisters, namely Betje, Schoontje, Roosje, Rachel, Klara and Esther have been killed during the Holocaust.
