Albert Bachmann was the son of Herman Bachmann and Ferdinande Fischel. his father died in 1918.
In 1936 Albert Bachmann and his mother moved from Höxter (Germany) to Amsterdam. There he got married to Charlotte Ash. The couple had one son: Werner Hermann.
