About Esther Frank-de Rooy

Esther de Rooy (de Rooij) was a daughter of Mozes de Rooij and Sara Boeken, a family with eleven children, among them Keetje, Abraham, Betje (who passed already in 1908), Jacob, Hartog, Rebecca, Samson, Pinehas, Coenraad, who has surivived the Holocaust, Rachel and Esther herself.
Esther married 20 March 1901 in Amsterdam to Abraham Visser, son of Barend Visser and Sientje Abraham Berkhof. Abraham passed away however very soon on 18 December 1901, only 28 years old and on 21 April 1909 she remarried in Amsterdam to Hartog Frank, son of Salomon Abraham Frank and Femmetje Levie Kuiper. Hartog Frank too passed away on 21 April 1917, aged 65 years.
Together with Abraham Visser, Esther had one son: Abraham Barend, who survived the Holocaust and with Hartog Frank, her second husband, a daughter Femma.
