Lena Krant was married to a non-Jewish man and had four children. They lived in Amsterdam. Her husband was active in the resistance during the war. In May 1942, they were arrested and interned at Vught concentration camp. On 15 January 1944, Lena Bagmeijer-Krant was locked in a cell with more than seventy other women. She died the next morning.
