Abraham Härtz was a son of Hartog Härtz and Jetje Conen. Abraham Härtz married Grietje van der Hoeden on 10 August 1938. They had one daughter, Jetje.
Abraham was forced to report for work in 1942. He and his brother Lewie Härtz ended up in camp 't Wijde Gat near Staphorst, one of the Jewish labour camps. In October 1942 they were transfered to Westerbork. On 23 October 1942 Abraham Härtz was deported to Auschwitz and forced to work at the Breslau-Wroclaw stone-quarry.
