Reintje Soesman was a daughter of Wolf Soesman and Judik Sterner. She married 26 December 1916 in Zwartewaal to the 46-year olf widower of Sara Spanjer, Iesidor Samuel Hartogs from Middelharnis, a son of David Hartogs and Wilhelmina Catz. Reintjes spouse however passed away on 18 March 1926 in Rotterdam, 56 years old.
Reintje Hartogs-Soesman was deported at 11 May 1943 toSobibor where she has been killed immediately upon arrival there on 14 May 1943 .
