Louis Cohen and Zoetine Kaatje Benninga were married at Westerbork transit camp on 6 October 1942. Louis Cohen, occupation warehouse clerk, was a son of commercial agent David Cohen and the deceased Branca Cohen. Zoetine Kaatje Benninga, housekeeper, was a daughter of cattle dealer Simon Benninga and of Sophia Zadoks.
The father of the groom and the parents of the bride attended the marriage ceremony; they signed the marriage certificate. The witnesses were Hartog Cohen, brother of the groom, and Jacob Benninga, brother of the bride; they signed the marriage certificate.
