David Bruinvels was the son of Isaac Bruinvels en Judic Groen. He was the twinbrother of Levie Bruinvels who also lived at the Lepelstraat. He was deported to Bergen Belsen, together with his wife and child. In May 1945, he was sent to the east with the so called 'lost transport'. The train was liberated by the allied troops, but David Bruinvels died shortly after, in Riesa. His wife and child survived the war.
