Bernard Davidson was a son of Abraham Davidson and Elisabeth van Brink. He married Sophie Lea Zilverberg on 17 March 1937 in Amsterdam, a daughter of Arie Zilverberg and Frederika Potsdammer.
Bernard had four other siblings, who also did not have survived the Holocaust: Jacob, Levie, Louisa and Elske.
