Benedictus Samuel Boas, the son of Samuel Benedictus Boas and Carolina Cohen, was an insurer. Even though his wife was not Jewish, he was arrested by the Sicherheitsdienst in August 1944 and deported via Westerbork. His wife and child survived the war. The family lived at 25 Rubensstraat in Amersfoort. Benedictus had several items of jewelry looted from him.
