The official date of his death is 17 September 1944. Abraham Bouman was in a punishment transport, 3 September 1944, from Westerbork to Auschwitz.

The Dutch Red Cross has passed on a declaration on that Abraham Bouma died in camp Allach (near Dachau) not earlier than 21-04-1945 and latest 30-04-1945.
