Claris Weil was a daughter of Mozes Weil and Rebekka Weil. She was married in Gouda on 12 August 1942 to Gustav Hirsch from Frankenwinheim (Bavaria), a former front soldier and son of Suszman Hirsch and Sara Kaufman. In 1938 she arrived in Holland and lived at Hoogstraat 1 in Gouda. On 26 September 1942 she and Gustav were deported from Gouda to Camp Westerbork. However two days later, on 28 September 1942 both were deported to Auschwitz and killed there upon arrival on 1 October 1942.
