Max Siegbert van Oosten and Lea Englander were married at Westerbork transit camp on 19 April 1943. He was a manservant and a son of draper Aron van Oosten and of Henriette Tropmpetter. Lea was an office clerk and a daughter of diamond worker Jacques Englander and of Hanna Rodrigues Garcia.
