Henderika Gronsveld was the daughter of Salomon Freerk Gronsveld and Mietje van Dam. On 11 June 1919 she married Alexander Knorringa. The weddingceremony took place in Leens. The couple had two chidlren. In 1920 their daughter Jettina Lowiena Knorringa was born and in 1923 their son Salomon Frederikus Knorringa. In 1933 Henderika Gronsveld became a widow.
