Azor Boeki, born 1869 in Rotterdam, was a son of Jacob Boeki and Sara Presburg. 29 November 1893 he married in Rotterdam Johanna Bronkhorst from Nijmegen, a daughter of Lodewijk Bronkhorst and Aaltje Sprengers. The couple had five children, namely Lodewijk, Sara and Aaltje and two children, named Jacob, who both have died soon after their birth. The three first mentioned children were killed in the Shoah, just as their father. Azor's wife Johanna Bronkhorst however passed away in Rotterdam 8 March 1938 and was interred in the Jewish Cemetery Toepad in Rotterdam.
Since June 1921 the Boeki family resided at Hugo de Grootstraat 90 in Rotterdam but moved in 1935 to nr. 142b and since 1937 they lived at nr. 112a. Presumably after the passing of his wife Johanna, Azor Boeki put up with his daughter Sara in 1941, who lived with her husband Benedictus Sanders and daughter Johanna at Van Houtenstraat 26a.
Azor Boeki was deported 22 October 1942 from Rotterdam Van Houtenstraat 26a to Camp Westerbork and put on transport to Auschwitz 26 October. Three days later, upon arrival there 29 October 1942 Azor Boeki has been killed immediately.
