Anna Nieuwkerk was a daughter of Mozes Barend Nieuwkerk and Duifje Koopman Sturkop. She married 9 Augustus 1876 in Amsterdam Levie Duijts (Duijtz), a son of Abraham David Duijts and Hanna Levie Pool.
On 15 January 1914 she was registered in the Municipality of Apeldoorn at the address Loolaan 59, where the health resort Boschrust was located. After her stay there, she returned to Amsterdam however on 20 May 1924, she was again registered in Apeldoorn at the same address. Probably she passed away there.
Levie Duijts passed away before Anna Nieuwkerk; she died in Apeldoorn in 1941 as his widow.
She had also a sister Rosalie, who was married to Louis Weijl from Rotterdam.
