About Salmon Wijnberg

Salmon Wijnberg was a member of a group of religious Palestine Pioneers who were preparing themselves in Laag Keppel for a farmer's life in the then Palestine. Together with the other group members, he was deported to Auschwitz via Vught and Westerbork. For some time, he was forced to work there for the Siemens factories. On 1 January 1944, he was admitted to the sick barrack of Monowitz.
