Thérèse Biedermann was a daughter of Maijer Markus Biedermann and Justine Kann. Her first marriage was in France in 1912 but in 1917 the marriage ended by a divorce in Den Haag. Her second marriage with Simon Gompertz, a son of Aaron Gompertz and Hester van Leeuwen, was in Amsterdam on 28 August 1918. The couple had no children.
Thérèse self had two brothers and two sisters: Karel, Isaac, Bertha and Regina. They too have been killed in the Shoah.
