Samson Waterman was a son of Levie Waterman and Elisabeth de Hond. He married 19 August 1908 in Amsterdam to Mina Kanes, a daughter of Levie Kanes and Betje Koopman. Mina passed away on 2 May 1929.
The couple had two children: Elisabeth and Levie.
