Rosa de Jong was a daughter of Hartog de Jong and Hanna Rijksman. She married 18 December 1895 in Amsterdam to Hartog de Jong, son of Abraham de Jong and Dina Waterman. Hartog de Jong passed away on 18 December 1920, 46 years old.
The couple had ten children together: Abraham, Anna, Jacob, Sophia (who survived the Holocaust) and Emanuel; five other children died already at very young age.
