About Mannes Koopman Haas

Mannes (Maurice) Koopman Haas lived from 1922 untill 1936 at Hertzogstraat 1, a house built by Handwerkers Vriendenkring. In 1936 he moved to the Galileiplantsoen. Mannes Haas had two children who both survived the war by going into hiding.
On platform 2a/b of the Amsterdam Central Station, Mannes Haas name is listed on a plaque to commemorate railway-personnel that died during the war.
