Levie de Swarte was the son of Ruben de Swarte and Anna Zwijt. He married Batseba d'Oliveijra in Amsterdam on May 17, 1899. She was the daughter of Isaac d'Oliveijra and Rozette Peper. Batseba died in 1932.
