Henriette Velleman was a daughter of Nathan Velleman and Roosje Bak. She married at Nieuwer Amstel on 24 August 1892 to Isaac Waas, son of Mozes Waas and Rachel Jacob Tafelkruijer. Isaac passed away, 64 years old and was buried at Muiderberg on 3 September 1931.
The couple has a large family and they had together twelve children, of whom Mozes, Salomon and Jacob have survived the Holocaust and two children, Louis and Rachel has passed already at very young age. The others, Nathan, Hartog, Louis, Benedictus, Rachel, Abraham and Aron did not survive the war.
