Mozes Oesterman was the son of the trader Marcus Philip Oesterman and Sophia de Vries. In the 1930s Mozes lived first on Zwanenburgerwal and later on Zaanhof, Amsterdam. He was a member of the Amsterdam society Architectura et Amicitia.
